How does Unito's pricing work?

Unito's plans are based on a few metrics, which can be grouped under two categories: active users and features. Our pricing page has a full list of our plans and a comparison of each plan's features. But if you want to know more about these features — and get a definition for active users — then you're in the right place.

How Unito defines an active user

We charge you for the people who actually get value from Unito and not every person who uses the tools in your workflow. That means anyone actively involved in a synced item of work in the last 30 days, whether by editing them or by keeping track of their progress.

An active user is an individual collaborating on blocks of work that are part of your workflows. They can be someone:

  • who makes changes to synced items.
  • who is following/watching synced items.

Users are only counted once no matter how many projects or tools they work with. For example, if someone is both an issue commenter in Jira and a card member in Trello, they only count once.

What you get with your plan

The number of active users in your workflows isn't the only metric we use to determine your plan; each has its own suite of features. Here's a basic rundown of these features for each plan. For a more detailed comparison, try our pricing page.

Note: All our plans can be scaled up for an additional charge. The Personal plan, for instance, can be scaled up from five active users to 10. You can see this on our pricing page.

The Personal plan

The Personal plan is a light version of our more comprehensive plans, but you still get the power of Unito's deep, two-way integrations for the work management tools you're used to. This plan is designed to support personal workflows, like organizing all your to-dos in one place or managing a single freelancer’s clients. Here's what you get out of our entry-level plan:

  • $10 a month when billed annually
  • Five active users
  • One workflow: You can build all the flows you need, but they all have to be housed within a single workflow.
  • 15-minute sync: Once you've created your flow, we'll check every 15 minutes to see if any changes were made to your items. Then, we'll sync any changes you made during that period.
  • 10 active flows: Your workflow can include up to 10 flows, which will be automatically synced every 15 minutes.

The Team plan

The Team plan is the next tier up from the Personal plan. Have a single workflow you need to optimize for your team? Then this might be the right plan for you. Here's what you get:

  • $65 a month when billed annually
  • 15 active users
  • One workflow: You can build all the flows you need, but they all have to be housed within a single workflow.
  • Five-minute sync: Once you've created your flow, we'll check every five minutes to see if any changes were made to your items. Then, we'll sync any changes you made during that period.
  • 30 active flows: While you can only build one workflow, it can have as many as 30 active flows, all synced automatically every five minutes.
  • Included 30-minute onboarding session: Our most successful users get help setting up their workflows from our team of experts. An onboarding session pairs you up with a dedicated Customer Success Manager who will help you set up your workflow.
  • One custom field: With the Team plan, you can set up and sync a single custom field, giving you that much more control over your workflows.

The Company plan

The Company plan is designed for organizations that need robust, two-way integrations for collaboration across multiple teams or entire departments. Here's what's included in the plan:

  • $249/month when billed annually
  • 40 active users
  • Unlimited workflows
  • Live sync: After your flow is created, we'll check periodically for any changes to your items. Depending on the size of your projects, this sync can take a few minutes.
  • 80 active flows: This plan includes 80 automatically synced flows that can be spread out among all your workflows.
  • Included 60-minute onboarding session: Our most successful users start off on the right foot with an onboarding session. Get paired up with a dedicated Customer Success Manager who will help you set up your workflow.
  • Unlimited custom fields: With the Company plan, you can set up and sync any custom field you need.
  • Upcoming workflow features: With the Company plan, you get access to the most exciting features we're still working on, including permissions and deep workflow analytics.

Enterprise solutions

Enterprise solutions have all the features of the Company plan, including live syncing, collaborator reports, and custom fields. Unlike other plans, these solutions can be completely customized to your needs:

  • Price: Because so much of this plan is tailored to what you need, we make sure the price matches what you're getting out of it.
  • Active users: Not all Enterprise-level businesses are the same, and your collaboration needs might go well above 150 active users.
  • Active flows: When you reach out to us, we'll talk about your workflows to help you figure out how many active flows you'll need.
  • Payment terms: Not every business wants to — or can — pay with a credit card. With this plan, we can invoice you in a way that suits your organization's procurement method.
  • Security assessment: Our security team will run a complete security assessment for you before you buy.
  • Priority support: Our workflow and integration experts will answer any questions you have within one business day.
  • Dedicated account manager: Your account manager is your main point of contact at Unito. They'll be with you at every step of your journey, helping you to hit milestones and get the most out of Unito.
  • Dedicated customer success manager: Whether you need help setting up a workflow, customizing your rules, or you just need a bit of guidance, trust in your customer success manager to be your go-to problem solver.
