How does Unito's pricing work?

Pricing for all Unito plans is in U.S. dollars (USD). Please note that taxes are applicable only to customers in Canada.

The cost of each Unito plan is determined by the number of items you wish to sync and the specific features you need.

So when you're choosing a plan, you should consider:

Our pricing page has a full list of our plans and a comparison of each plan's features.

If you're on a legacy plan based on active users, you can find more information about how we count active users here.

What happens if I go over my limit of items in sync?

If you exceed your limit of items in sync without changing plans, you'll be automatically upgraded to the closest appropriate plan to your current items in sync count during your next payment cycle.

If that's going to happen, we'll notify you in the app and via email. These notifications will also tell you which plan you'll need to support your increased usage. We will not pause your flows during this time.

How does Unito define an item in sync?

Work items have different names depending on the tool you're using and what you choose to sync. A work item becomes an item in sync when it is created or modified automatically by a Unito flow. A flow is the connection between two tools created by users.

Here are some examples of possible items in sync:

  • Cards: Trello, Miro

  • Checklists: Trello
  • Contacts:  Mailchimp, Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce, Google Contacts

  • Deals or Opportunities: HubSpot, Salesforce
  • Events: Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook
  • Forms or Surveys: SurveyMonkey, Jotform, Typeform
  • Incidents: ServiceNow
  • Issues: Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
  • Items: monday.com, Azure DevOps
  • Messages or Conversations: Slack, Intercom
  • Records: Airtable
  • Rows: Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Smartsheet

  • Tasks: Asana, Wrike, ClickUp
  • Tickets: Zendesk, HubSpot
  • Subtasks: Asana, ClickUp, Jira, Wrike

Syncing one work item from one tool to another counts as two items in sync: the original item manually created in your first tool, as well as the new item automatically created by Unito in your second tool.

Example of items in sync:

Below is a Trello card with a checklist synced to an Asana task. In our Unito rules, we've paired Trello checklists with Asana subtasks:

Rules Trello to Asana 1

Here's what that looks like in both tool interfaces:

Example of 4 items in sync between Trello and Asana: 1 card, 1 checklist, 1 task, 1 subtask

Above you'll see:

  1. A Trello card
  2. A Trello checklist
  3. An Asana task
  4. An Asana subtask

All four are now in sync with Unito, so that's 4 items in sync.

You can always review your usage from the Unito dashboard to see how many items in sync you have. Here's a guide to help you manage your items in sync count.

Unito's pricing evolution

Unito is constantly evolving, and so is its pricing structure. As the platform changes, some pricing plans may change as well. Others may become unavailable. You can always find up-to-date information on available plans on the Unito pricing page.

How many apps or tools can I connect to Unito?

Currently, new Unito users have two options based on their plan:

  1. to connect one tool to any other(s) or;

  2. to connect any tool(s) to any other(s).

If your plan enables you to connect one tool to any other(s), that means one of the tools in all of your active flows must be the same. You can think of it as your hub tool.

You can change your hub tool at any point simply by ensuring that all of your active flows include the same tool (with any other(s) connected to it).

If your plan allows you to connect any tool to any other(s), then there's no limit to the number of tool combinations you can choose.

Ex.: If your hub tool is Trello, then all of your active Unito flows must include Trello. Here are some valid, and invalid combinations in that example:

✅ Trello + Google Sheets
✅ Trello + Azure DevOps

❌Google Sheets + Azure DevOps

Your flows can connect different Trello accounts, boards, lists, cards and so on, but one of the tools connected in each flow must still be Trello.

If your plan allows you to connect any tool to any other(s), then there's no limit to the number of tool combinations you can choose.
