What to Expect From the Unito Onboarding Process

Onboarding is a great way to familiarize yourself with Unito more quickly and cut down on internal training time.

What this article covers:

What is Unito's customer onboarding?

Customer onboarding is a service that helps certain Unito customers (based on their plan) get acquainted with the platform. You will be teamed with a dedicated Customer Success Manager who will tailor the process to your needs, whether that’s learning the basics or tackling more in-depth customization and workflow consultation.

Your onboarding needs can vary depending on your workflow, the number of items you plan on syncing, which tools you're connecting, etc.

What topics are covered in a Unito onboarding session?

If a session is included in your plan, we'll notify you by email after you subscribe. Be sure to check your inbox for an onboarding invitation which will allow you to schedule the meeting at a time that suits you. If you can't find a time that works for your schedule, then reach out to us directly. We're happy to accommodate users across different time zones.

The onboarding sessions are hosted via Zoom, so we’re able to share screens as needed. If you haven’t downloaded Zoom, simply join the meeting through your browser.

Your onboarding session is completely personalized to your needs. We’re able to cover any topics to help you get the most value over the call. In a typical onboarding, the agenda will look something like this:

  • Discussion of your business goals

  • An in-depth look at your workflow

  • Advice on building your workflow if you’re in the early stages

  • Guidance on the best way to customize your flows

  • Learning our latest features and functionalities

What should I prepare before the onboarding?

If you haven’t already, connect all of your tools in the integrations page. Some tools need additional set-up steps before connecting to Unito, such as Jira and GitHub Enterprise.

Create a couple of test projects and sync them together. This will help you come up with any questions on functionality and how this is going to work with your real workflow.

Make sure all of your team members are in your Unito workspace so they can create flows.
