What Unito syncs from ServiceNow
Unito syncs records (e.g., incidents, tasks, or cases) from ServiceNow tables by linking individual fields from these records to items in other tools (e.g., Trello cards, Jira issues, Google Sheets rows).
Supported fields for ServiceNow records
Since you can configure and map nearly every single field in ServiceNow, Unito can sync pretty much everything you need it to including: attachments, work notes, public comments, state, assignment group and more.
You can review all syncable fields in this list of ServiceNow Fields Supported by Unito. And here's how to find fields in ServiceNow.
You can also build rules with any field based on the following:
- Sync record if it has a value: e.g., create a rule in Unito to only sync records with "any value" in a field you've called "Priority." This would mean only rows with text in that field would sync.
- Sync record if it's empty: The exact opposite of the previous rule. Taking that Priority example again, a record will not sync if it has anything in the Priority field.
- Sync record if it matches a specific value: Using the Priority example, you can build a rule that only syncs records with High priority.
- Sync a record if it doesn't match a specific value: Using the Priority example, you can build a rule that only syncs records that aren't set to High priority.
Additional features
Unito's ServiceNow integration also supports the following features:
- Copied and streamed attachments: Unito can copy attachments to and from ServiceNow items, meaning the whole file will be available in any synced work item as long as it's mapped to an attachment field in your other tool. You can also stream attachments to the description footer of the other tool, adding a clickable link for anyone in the other tool to view it without logging in to ServiceNow.
