2. Choose a flow direction
3. Include your custom item type in your rules - if you only want to sync data based on your CITs.
   1. Syncing from Wrike to another tool: add the CIT as a rule. 
   2. Syncing from another tool TO Wrike: Under your list of actions, add a rule to "Set default custom item type to" your chosen CIT. 
      
4. Customize your field mappings as necessary so that the details of your Wrike CIT are included in the flow. In the example below, our CITs are linked to Jira issue types.
