Unito FAQ: Why Is My Name on All Comments?
When Unito syncs your projects and tasks, it uses the account of a single user to reflect each update or change.
When you use Unito to sync your work management tools you are using your personal user to do so. So every time there is something synced across these tools, it goes through your connector; that is why you see your name appearing everywhere.
Unito still specifies the name of the commenter in the comment body, but we understand that is sometimes not enough!
Solution
Until the release of the future platform that will resolve all this, we suggest you create a bot user. That way, every change synced through that connector appears to be coming from Unito, and the commenter’s name in the comment body is easier to distinguish.
Here is a step by step guide on how to create a Bot User for your synchronization.
