Limitations of Unito's Smartsheet Integration

Here's a breakdown of what Unito's Smartsheet integration can't do yet — and a few other considerations.

Unito's Smartsheet integration is designed to get crucial data out of your sheets and into other tools. You've seen what Unito can do for Smartsheet users, so this article will cover what it can't do — yet.

Unsupported columns

  • People

  • Symbols

  • Auto-Number/Systemfield

  • Predecessors

Other limitations

  • Rich text: You won't be able to sync bolded, italic, or other types of rich text with this integration.
  • Dropdowns: While multi-select dropdowns can be mapped in the Unito app, their values can't be synced. Only single-select dropdowns are supported by this integration.
  • Contact list: Due to limitations in the Smartsheet Contact API, there are some situations where users might not sync properly to or from Smartsheet. If your flow isn't properly syncing users, check the following:
    • Your Smartsheet plan. If you don't have a Smartsheet Enterprise plan, you might not be able to sync users.
    • Make sure the users you're trying to sync appear on the Smartsheet manage users page.
    • When configuring a contact list field in Smartsheet, you'll find a toggle that restricts it to list values only. Make sure this toggle is off, then add all users you need to sync in the list under Add contacts.
