Supported fields for Jira Service Management work items
Unito supports most fields for Jira Service Management work items. Here’s a list of these fields as well as supported sync directions and rules.
Quick definitions:
- One-Way: Changes to this field can be configured to sync in a single direction rather than both.
- Two-Way: Changes to this field will be synced to the tool it’s integrated with, and changes in the other tool will be synced back.

Additional features
Unito’s Jira Service Management integration also supports the following features:
- Subtasks: Unito supports subtasks for any Jira or Jira Service Management work item type.
- Copied attachments: Unito can copy attachments between Jira Service Management and other tools that support this type of attachment. You can learn more about this here.
- Dependencies: Unito can sync dependencies from Jira Service Management with lookup fields in other tools (e.g., Asana dependencies).
- Hierarchies: Unito can sync multi-level relationships between Jira Service Management work items and subtasks, keeping relationships intact across tools.
- Item matching: Unito can identify and sync existing Jira Service Management work items instead of duplicating them, based on matching criteria.
- Rich text: All rich text type fields are supported by default.
- Multi-project functionality: When you build a Unito flow with Jira Service Management, your flow will sync work items from a single Jira Service Management project by default.
- Item types: When building a Unito flow with Jira Service Management, you can choose between two subtask configurations.
- Work item (Hierarchy) which maintains the hierarchy between work items and subtasks.
