An Overview of Unito's HubSpot Integration (Powered by Advanced Sync)

Connecting HubSpot with Unito? Here's what you can expect from this integration.

In this article:

This article covers Unito's new flow builder, available for selected Enterprise plans starting December 1, 2025. Contact us if you want these features enabled in your workspace. For the classic flow builder, see this guide.

What Unito syncs from HubSpot

Unito syncs HubSpot work items with items in other tools, like Jira Cloud work items, Asana tasks or ServiceNow records:

  • Contacts
  • Companies
  • Deals
  • Leads
  • Tickets
  • Products
  • Line items
  • Quotes
  • Orders
  • Invoices (read only)
  • Fees, taxes and discounts
  • Carts
  • Subscriptions (read only)
  • Services, courses and listings
  • Projects
  • Activities: tasks, notes, calls, meetings, emails, postal mail and communications
  • Conversation threads (read only)
  • Messages on conversation threads
  • Attachments
  • Users (read only)
  • Custom objects

Which of these you see depends on the objects and permissions in your own HubSpot account.

Supported field types

Unito reads each object's properties from your own HubSpot account, so the fields available depend on your setup. Field types include:

  • Text
  • Number
  • Rich text
  • Dropdown (single and multi select)
  • Date and date and time
  • Yes/No
  • URL
  • User
  • Linked records

Most fields sync both ways. Calculated and read-only HubSpot properties, and system fields like Created at and ID, sync one way, from HubSpot only.

Highlighted features

  • Real-time sync: Changes in HubSpot sync as they happen.
  • Comments:
    • Comments sync as messages on a ticket's conversation thread and as notes under records.
    • HubSpot messages can be public or private. To sync only one kind to another tool, add a rule on the message's Public field (True for public, False for private).
    • Comments created from another tool always arrive in HubSpot as internal comments, visible only to your team, never as replies to your customer.
  • Rich text sync: Formatting carries over in every rich text field, including comments.
  • Attachments: Binary attachments sync between HubSpot and other tools.
  • Mixed Hierarchies:
    • Different HubSpot items stay linked as parent and child across tools.
    • Deals, tickets, line items, quotes, projects, activities, conversation threads and their comments, attachments, custom objects and contacts can all sit under another item.
    • For example, a company's deals and tickets, or a deal's line items, can stay connected to the matching items in another tool.
  • Lookups: Linked fields, such as a deal's contacts or companies. You can map a linked field's value, or sync the linked records as their own flow.
  • Custom fields and custom objects: Every native and custom object is supported, along with its lookup fields.
  • Filtering: Choose which items sync.
  • Environments: Works with HubSpot production and sandbox accounts.
