Which Salesforce work items can sync with Unito?

Unito's Salesforce integration supports multiple types of work items: tasks, contacts and opportunities. Here's an overview of:

Each Unito flow can only sync one type of work item: either tasks, contacts or opportunities. Any of these work items synced by your flows will count as an item in sync

Supported Salesforce task fields in Unito

Here are the task fields you can sync with our Salesforce integration, along with which fields can be used in rules.

Quick definitions:

    • One-Way: Changes to the Salesforce task field will appear in the other synced field but not vice versa.
    • Two-Way: Changes to either synced field will appear in the other.
    • Rules: This task field can be used as a trigger in your rules to filter work items from syncing with Unito.

Account is a locked field, meaning it's required for your flow to work properly. In your other app or tool, create a custom field to pair with your Salesforce Account. Be sure to match the exact text from the Salesforce account field to the custom field names in your other tool.
If your other tool doesn't support custom fields, then your Unito flows can only be synced 1-way from Salesforce to that tool.

If two accounts have the same name, work items in the other tool will be synced to the first account.

What counts as an item in sync?

Unito's Salesforce integration supports three different work items: tasks, contacts, and opportunities. Each flow can only sync one type of work item, and any work item synced by that flow will count as an item in sync. So, for example, if you sync Salesforce tasks with a Unito flow, each event synced counts as an item in sync.

Limitations and compatibility

  • Syncing or filtering by assignee: You won't be able to sync Salesforce assignees to other tools just yet.

  • Chatter: Our integration doesn't currently support this.

  • Webhooks: This is still in the works.

  • Related to: This field isn't supported yet.
