What is JSON?

You might have come across this text box when creating your workflows.

If you don't know what JSON is, you might be worried that you're missing out on some key Unito features here. So what is JSON?

JSON is short for Javascript Object Notation. It's a data interchange format which allows us to tailor the behavior of specific workflows. JSON is not a way to access specific Unito features and isn't required to make your workflow operational. So why is it here?

How is JSON used?

JSON allows us to troubleshoot particularly complicated issues or adapt Unito to very niche use cases. Again, you don't need to know anything about JSON — or how to use it — in order to get the best out of Unito. It's only needed for certain issues and use cases.

If you have any questions about JSON, please reach out to us by clicking on the chat bubble. We'll be happy to help.
