Unsupported ServiceNow fields
- Description footer: Not supported by this integration.
- List fields (multi-select): Not currently supported by this integration.
Other ServiceNow limitations
- Simple hierarcies: Parent-child sync between records of the same type (for example, a parent incident and its child incidents) isn't currently supported. Mixed hierarchies between different record types — like Incident → Incident Task — are supported.
- Rich text in comments: Not currently supported by this integration.
Other ServiceNow considerations
Syncing comments
Unito’s ServiceNow integration supports both public and private comments. When syncing comments, consider the following:
- You can create a rule to determine whether public or private comments get synced to other tools.
- Comments synced from other tools to ServiceNow become work notes by default. To sync them as public comments instead, configure a rule in your flow that sets the Public field to true on the ServiceNow side.
- To sync only public comments from ServiceNow to another tool, add a default value on the Rules page that filters comments where Public is true. To sync only work notes (private comments) outbound, do the inverse — filter where Public is false.
Permissions
You need full access to the ServiceNow tables you want to sync.
