Unsupported Asana fields
- Description footer: This field isn't currently supported by this integration.
Other Asana limitations
- Custom fields: You won’t be able to sync custom fields from tasks when you use portfolios as a container in your Unito flow (rather than Asana projects).
- Projects: When syncing Asana Projects as a field, a Unito flow can create new projects but can’t update them once they’re created.
- @mention translation from other tools: Not currently supported by this integration.
- Attachment links from other tools: This isn't currently supported by this integration.
Other Asana considerations
Syncing Start Dates
In order to sync Start Dates from Asana, make sure you also map Due Dates from Asana with a field in the other tool you’re syncing to.
Due Date (Date and time) and Due Date (Date only)
If both of these fields are mapped, Unito will favor the Due Date (Date and time) field. The same behavior occurs with Start Date (Date and time) and Start Date (Date only) fields.
Syncing tasks from Asana portfolios
To use portfolios as a container and tasks as a work item in your Unito flows, you’ll need a paid Asana plan.
Additionally, you need to map the Projects field or your flow won’t create any new Asana tasks.
