How to use an email address for multi-factor authentication
With this method, Unito will send you a verification code by email with every login. Here's how you can set that up.
From your Dashboard, click the More Options menu in the top-right.
Click on About my workspace.
Click on Security.
Find the Email section and click Add.
Once the Not activated status changes to Activated, you're done! Unito will send you an email with a verification code every time you log in.
How to use an authenticator app with Unito
In order to use an authenticator app with Unito, you'll first need to turn on email verification codes following the steps above.
Once that's done, click Add in the Authenticator app section.
Open your authenticator app of choice and scan the QR code on the next screen.
You'll get a one-time code in your app. Add the code in the corresponding field in Unito, then click Continue.
And that's it! You've added Unito to your authenticator app. Now you'll have to enter your app's one time code every time you log in.
If you want to confirm that your authenticator app is set up, go back to the Security page in your workspace and hit Refresh.
If the status changes from Not activated to Activated, you're all set!
