Limitations of Unito's Basecamp Integration
Here's a breakdown of what Unito's Basecamp integration can't do yet — and a few other considerations.
Unito's Basecamp integration is designed to get crucial data out of your projects and into other tools. You've seen what Unito can do for Basecamp users, so this article will cover what it can't do — yet.
-
Syncing @mentions: These aren't currently supported.
-
Syncing to multiple Basecamp workspaces: Each Basecamp account you connect to Unito can only build flows through one Basecamp workspace. Basecamp automatically picks the primary workspace as the only one that can be synced with Unito, meaning you won't be able to pick the workspace you want to sync from. This is a limitation in Basecamp's API.
- Default column: When syncing data to Basecamp, you need to pick a default column where new Basecamp to-dos will land in after being created by Unito. This is done in the rules screen. If you don't pick one, Unito will set the first column as the default one.
- Basecamp versions: Currently, this integration only supports Basecamp 3 and 4.
